BOOSTER CLUB FUNDRAISER - Corky's Hams & Turkeys

The holidays are just around the corner! For our holiday fundraising event, the Booster Club is raising funds for the Athletic Department by providing you, your family, and friends with something that we can all use around Christmas. Turkeys and hams provided by world famous Corky's BBQ! Enclosed with this letter you will find a full-color order form. Please ask your family and colleagues if they would like to make their Thanksgiving parties or holiday gatherings easier this year by purchasing a Corky's Smoked Ham or Turkey. Each product will arrive smoked, wrapped, frozen and boxed for your convenience. All you need to do is thaw! The price is $30.00 for a Smoked Whole Turkey which feeds 10-12 and $40.00 for a Smoked Ham which also feeds 10-12. The minimum weight for each is 8 pounds. Pick up will be on Wednesday, November 23rd at the East and Berclair campuses from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. You will be responsible for delivering the products that you sell.

As an incentive to sell these products, the Booster Club would like to award you, the parent, for assisting with the fundraiser.

1st place winner who sells over 20 products will receive $150 cash
2nd place winner who sells over 20 products will receive $100 cash
3rd place winner who sells over 20 products will receive $50 cash

Please take the time to look over the enclosed order form and start selling these awesome products. Order forms are due by Tuesday, November 15th. We look forward to much success this holiday season and raising some much needed funds for our Athletic programs. Purchase a $5 Gift Card which has your $5 loaded onto your gift card.  You will then reload your card with their grocery money at the Guest Services desk inside any Kroger store. Each time you shop, you simply use the card to pay for your purchases, including groceries and Kroger Fuel! You only have to purchase and use ONE card at a time and you don’t need to have constant contact with the Booster Club to help support us.  You can reload your fundraising gift cards at any Kroger store and pay with cash, check, debit card or major credit card.

And the best part… For every $5,000.00 reloaded by our supporters, Macon Road Baptist School Booster Club will automatically receive a 5% Reward or rebate, issued in the form of a check.

Kroger Gift Cards can be reloaded anytime, at any Kroger store for any amount from $5.00 to $500.00.

BOOSTER CLUB MISSION STATEMENT:

“The Macon Road Baptist School Booster Club was established in the spring of 2008 in order to provide a service to our kids and to the school that we have entrusted with their education and salvation. Our mission is to create a special environment for our kids and guests and while doing so raise funds that are necessary to enhance the school’s athletic and academic programs.  Our events/fundraisers will be carefully considered to ensure that they:

• Meet a need
• Provide a positive opportunity for profit
• Provide a service that will showcase the school in a positive light
• Show a profit that is worth the time spent by the volunteers.

Overall, we are a service organization that focuses on fundraising programs to enhance the many aspects of school life at Macon Road Baptist School.”
