Booster Club Announcements
The 2nd Annual Kingsmen Classic was a huge success and everyone had a good time. Prizes were given to the golfers with the closest putt, longest drive and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place teams. A great dinner was provided by Jim N Nicks BBQ and Bob Evans provided dessert. If you were unable to attend this year, please make plans to try to attend our 3rd annual event in September 2011.

Thank you to everyone who signed up to become a part of this year's Booster Club. We are looking forward to a fabulous 2009-2010 school year.
The tailgate party was a huge success! We raised over $2500 to benefit our Athletics Department. However, in order for our continued success, we still need volunteers for concessions, fundraisers, Room Moms and Teachers Appreciation. We have an immediate need for:

Grillers (hamburgers and hot dogs for Saturday morning games at East Campus)

Assistance with set up/breaking down
-
Concessions for both campuses

Head Room Mom for both campuses

Donations for the Silent Auction to be held October 24th

Volunteers to hand out Corky's at Berclair campus

Booster Club Golf Scramble

BOOSTER CLUB MISSION STATEMENT:
“The Macon Road Baptist School Booster Club was established in the spring of 2008 in order to provide a service to our kids and to the school that we have entrusted with their education and salvation. Our mission is to create a special environment for our kids and guests and while doing so raise funds that are necessary to enhance the school’s athletic and academic programs. Our events/fundraisers will be carefully considered to ensure that they:
- Meet a need
- Provide a positive opportunity for profit
- Provide a service that will showcase the school in a positive light
- Show a profit that is worth the time spent by the volunteers.
Overall, we are a service organization that focuses on fundraising programs to enhance the many aspects of school life at Macon Road Baptist School.”
Chick-fil-a Night
Thank you for supporting our Chick-fil-a night. We had a great turnout and raised over $400.

The first annual MRBS Fall Festival & Silent Auction held on Oct. 24 was a huge success. With the assistance of our upperclassmen athletes and many members of the Booster Club we were able to raise approx. $7500 dollars. A great time was had by all, including the staff and administration that were lucky enough to survive the pie throwing both without being hit with a pie. We had a number of booths for the kids to play and members of our athletics program came out to assist in working the individual booths, cake walk, set up and breakdown of the event.
There are too many volunteers to list here but special thanks goes to Melissa Eschbach, Amanda Jones, Jennifer Agar, Debbie Phillips and Christy Willard for organizing the entire festival and auction. Their hard work and dedication to our kids was evident in the success of this event. Thank you all for showing up, bringing your kids and investing in the future of this school. Your continued support allows the Booster Club to continue creating these environments for our kids and providing the school with funds to purchase new bleachers for the gym. All of your support goes to funding the athletic program so the kids from all campuses are rewarded for your dedication.
