Music

Music is an important part of every student’s education here at MRBS.  As such, music class is offered to students starting in the 5 year old kindergarten program.  As the student continues his education at MRBS, he is introduced to music theory and basic instrument playing with flutophones.  Students choose between band and choir starting in the fourth grade.  For the high school student preparing for college, music and art appreciation classes are offered during the junior or senior year.  Programs are scheduled throughout the year to give students the opportunity to perform, using the talents they master in the music classes.
