A+ Tutoring Service

A+ Tutoring Service is a tutoring service that works alongside Macon Road Baptist School to provide additional help in all academic subjects.

Benefits:

Ø  Convenience: Tutoring may be done after school starting as early as 3:30 p.m.  Therefore, no trip to the library or other location is necessary.  Students may be picked up at school when the tutoring session is over.  Scheduling is done between the family and tutor in order to provide the most convenience to everyone involved.  

Ø  Experienced Tutors: The tutors of A+ Tutoring are MRBS staff members.  Therefore, they are familiar with the curriculum your child is being taught.  They also have easy access to your child’s teacher for guidance in the areas your child may need help.

Ø  Reasonable Rates: Tutoring packages are provided at much lower rates than other services.

Ø  No Contracts: Tutoring is purchased in 5 hour bundles.  When those 5 hours of tutoring have been completed, another bundle may be purchased or another tutoring service may be used. 

Ø  Free Assessment Testing: When requested, one assessment test will be administered free of charge during the first session of the first bundle of tutoring purchased. 

Guidelines:

Ø  Upon receiving payment, a tutor will be secured.  At that time you will be notified of who the tutor will be and receive their contact information.  The tutor will also receive your contact information.  From that point, you both work together to schedule your sessions. 

Ø  Teachers cannot tutor their own students. 

Ø  Each bundle must be paid for up front before the first session is scheduled.  When payment has been received, A+ Tutoring will contact the tutor and let them know that they may begin.

Ø  If an additional bundle is purchased after the first 5 hours has been completed, the payment must again be paid up front before the first session of the new bundle.

Ø  Checks may be mailed to A+ Tutoring or may be placed in an envelope and turned into the school receptionist.  Receipt of payment can be mailed or emailed upon request.

Pricing:

Ø  Tutoring is sold in 5 hour bundles.  Each 5 hour bundle is offered at $150.  One free assessment test will be administered upon request during the first session.  Additional bundles may be purchased up front or after the first bundle is completed.
